Hi Everyone!

What’s up friends?

I have finally gotten my computer back and a new phone. Thank the heavens! Mike and I decided it would be fun to make an ausflug to one of our favorite locations… Kochl Am See/Walchensee. I promise you guys….If you are in Bayern and near this location you would probably find Mike and I there. We spend way too much time in the same spots…Last week however, we decided to eat somewhere a little different… NO MORE TEGERNSEE BRAUSTUBERL 😀 We decided to eat at Karwendelblick.

It wasn’t the “best” restaurant we have ever been to but the location was nice and the food was tasty PLUS it was relatively cheap 😀

I do feel bad that I force Mike to wait to eat until I take photos of our food 😉 Hopefully you don’t have a significant other like me.

Martinskopf/Herzogstand Hiking

Hey yall! What’s up?

Last weekend Mike and I decided to wake up early . We actually woke up at 12 and decided it would be a perfect time to go hiking! We got ourselves ready, packed our bags, ate something and even stopped by the bank to get cash. Let’s just say we did not make it to our “ziel” until 2:30pm -_- I have only been hiking a few times and I am not experienced at all in the skill of hiking (I’m from Florida..we don’t have mountains).

Mike told me it would be an easy 1 hour 45 minute hike up…..to Martinskopf

After googling about the mountain I found out that…. Martinskopf is a 1675hm climb -_- with an estimated 2h45m time. As Mike and I were beginning our climb a cute old lady said “oh, a night tour…that’s cute” and I thought to myself “what the hell is this lady talking about?”. I would soon find out at 5pm when we got to the hutte at the top with my schnitzel that there was no way (if we wanted to make it to the kreuz) that we would be back in daylight.

As yall could guess…It took forever and a decade to finish our  food get to the top of Martinskopf and make it back down BUT when 9pm hit …our feet were finally on flat surface.

Moral of the story…1st) Don’t trust your boyfriend when he says it’ll be a 2 hour hike! 2nd) Don’t go hiking later than 2pm. 3rd) DON’T WEAR Nike Air Max.

and last but not least be very thankful that your boyfriend dragged you out of the house to experience such beauty ❤

Mellow Yellow

Happy Monday everyone! How are y’all on this wonderful day? I hope you are doing ok, I know Monday’s are no fun BUT we can try to change that? hopefully? Maybe? Mike and I decided to make a little Ausflug last weekend. The trip basically was us riding around in the car to different places in the south of Munich.

The sun was shining in one direction and the clouds were grey in the other directions. Days like this make me sleepy and cuddly. Not only did we have an awesome day together, we decided to take some cute photos (well Mike took photos of me because I suck at taking photos). I am seriously one of those people that will stop on the side of the road to take a picture with a cow or a flower.

If you are in Munich and you are able to move around (Car, Bike or anything that allows you to move freely) I recommend going towards Wolfratshausen ❤ It’s so beautiful and the photos ops in this area are amazing!

Love yall ❤

Dirndl Time

Ok, so I have neglected my blog. I know, I am horrible. I have been extremely busy…You try having 2 jobs and working an average 40-50 hours a week and run a Youtube channel and blog (If you do this…Bless you). I am so happy to finally squeeze back into my dirndl. I took a hibernation phase which also meant gaining SO MUCH WEIGHT AND HAVING TO go 2 sizes up in my dirndl BUT I enjoyed all the chocolate :p

“About uh week ago..or 2” My favorite Dirndl brand EVER Trachtenwahnsinn LINK HERE had a fashion show in Aloft Munich for their new collection. Basically bringing in the new season for Munich means Dirndl fashion shows everywhere (just kidding). 😀 I was there to add my dimples to the mix and let me tell you guys I fell in love all over again with these bad boys. These dirndls are seriously HAYLEY, they scream my name from the top of the rooftops all through Munich all the while throwing glitter and flowers at pedestrians (am I weird?).

I would just like to say that I am having so much fun in Munich and it’s living up to be everything I ever wanted ❤ Also if you want to see me being stupid on TV…. CLICK HERE

Hopefully I can add more to this story of mine..This relationship I have with Trachtenwahnsinn is so geil :p I also plan on making some videos about this so we shall see!!!

Linderhof Castle

Good evening friends and random people that read my blog for no apparent reason….Yeah you know I am talking about you 😉 Today’s wonderful post is going to be (if you did not read the title…I pity you) about The Linderhof Castle. I can not really say that much about it because A) I wasn’t really paying attention to the lady on tour B) It was too cold and C) a lot of things were closed due to the sh*t weather or renovation/reconstruction stuff.

The castle itself is “small” compared to the other castles here in Bavaria…. I am on a mission to see as many as possible….I might be lying to ya’ll but FORREAL I AM TRYING. It’s a good hour away from Munich itself and I would recommend going in summer but it’s still beautiful in winter. There are restrooms and there is a restaurant that looked…. “inviting”. Castles make for great day trips here in southern Germany….SOOOO If you’re looking for an ausflug away from the hustle and bustle of Munich with great scenery, this place is worth the trip ❤

Good Evening Friends ❤

This past Saturday I was riding all around a winter wonderland. I really love Munich, Bayern, Bavaria…ETC ETC. It is seriously one of the most majestic and beautiful places this world has to offer. I am not too happy with the lack of snow BUT hopefully that will come some time very soon! Aside from being in the car going 100+ on the country back roads, I was able to see such beautiful scenery! From Kochlsee to Tegernsee to Wallgau to Jachenau.

I plan to have a video uploaded sometime next year about riding/driving in Germany..We shall see how that goes! I hope yall have a wonderful weekend and Happy Early 4th Advent!

❤ Hayley

Dear Reader,

I am as crazy as they come

I have been living in Munich, for far too long. I sometimes feel like Munich is more my home than Florida. I miss my family and friends more than anything in the world but there is something about the Munich air that really makes me warm inside. Let’s get down to business, I get asked often about traveling and leaving. Most of the e-mails and letters I receive are from people asking me “Should I leave?” “Should I go?” “What would you do?” The thing is that if you are sending me these messages you already deep down have an answer and it is YES.

I believe there are two types of people in this world. The people that go and the people that stay. I like to think that I myself am a “goer”. I may not be an expert world traveler but if there is enough time and a slight hint of adventure I am 70% down to go. I love when people try to tell me things like….I have to go to school….I have to pay this bill…I don’t have a passport…..I can’t quit my job. Then why are you even playing with the idea of leaving? If in your head you already have a STOP sign, why are you bringing it up?

I think that you should be forced to leave your comfort zone once in your life (no I am not talking about going to the next town over). I am talking about going to a place where you don’t speak the language, where food looks strange and people dress crazy and and and… THE LIST GOES ON.  I think then you would have a much deeper appreciation for the world and you would realize how insignificant a lot of your problems are.

I get asked often…What would I have done if I did not move to Germany? I mean there are many answers to this question and I think the most accurate ones would be…..Married, living in a nice house, driving a nice car and getting my manicure every 14th and 21st of the month OR that I would actually have a successful career and have lots of money. I do sometimes sit and think about my life and what would happen if I decided not to come to Germany, if the STOP sign in my head got the best of me and I stayed inside of my comfort zone. The thing about it is that yeah MAYBE I am taking a little longer to figure my life out, MAYBE I am making “not so smart” decisions and MAYBE I am being a little foolish with my time BUT I could never EVER imagine my life without Germany being a part of it.

So to answer that forever looming question “Would you leave?”

Yes, I would 😀

Love yall ❤
